The Economics major at the Hamilton Holt School provides a sound foundation in both macroeconomic and microeconomic theory. Students learn about the evolution of the discipline as well as the controversies that have influenced the character and style of economic theory.

The Economics major requires the completion of twelve (12) courses consisting of six (6) core courses and six (6) elective courses.

Six (6) additional courses in Economics are required, four (4) of which must be taken at the 300/400 level.

Requirements for the Economics Minor
