Has the College suspended travel to certain locations, or canceled any study abroad programs? All College international courses, study abroad programs, and international and domestic field studies through August 15, 2021, are canceled. The College has also suspended College-sponsored overnight domestic travel through August 15, 2021. Students are permitted to participate in independent domestic internships or service-learning experiences and can earn Rollins credit and/or receive funding from Rollins for these experiences. The College will continue to permit group day trips to locations within walking and biking distance of Rollins, which is consistent with current practice. Athletic day trips with bus travel will continue to be permitted with all bus travel in accordance with NCAA COVID guidelines.

What factors is the College considering when making decisions about international travel?U.S. State Department and CDC travel notices; vaccination rates and percentage of population that is vaccinated; viral spread in-country; border restrictions for entry into host countries; the presence of mandated quarantines, lockdowns and other restrictions; testing requirements with strict timeframes; restrictions on entry back into the U.S.; potential risks to the College community and our host communities and partners abroad; and the high-level of continued uncertainty surrounding the virus and the state of international travel.
