COURSE OBJECTIVES This course examines international conflict through the alternative lens of the feature film. Our objective is to better comprehend how the post-Cold War environment fundamentally alters traditional global interactions – and how to adjust accordingly. Case studies highlight the role of US power, promise and pitfalls within the UN, dependence on fossil fuels, and continued threat of terrorism.
